Prawns/Jhinga (Regular Size) – Dressed and Clean- 250 Grams

Fresh prawns in Meerut: Alizo Foods delivers fresh regular size prawns, also called jhinga or jhinga machli (झींगा मछली), to your home in Meerut. Every pack is dressed and cleaned, 250 grams for ₹429.

Why regular size?

Regular size is the everyday size. It is big enough to bite into and small enough to cook through quickly and soak up masala, which makes it practical for curry, fry and biryani.

What you can cook

• Prawn masala or curry with onion-tomato gravy
• Tawa fry with ginger-garlic, red chilli and lemon
• Prawn biryani or pulao
• Garlic butter prawns or tikka-style on a pan

Cooking tip

Prawns cook in just a few minutes. Add them near the end of the masala and switch off the heat once they turn pink and curl. Overcooking makes them rubbery.
